Maybach 2019 Amoenus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 99 Points
$194.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “First made in 2009 (the first vintage of Maybach was in 2004), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Amoenus offers an incredible, full-bodied, pure, seamless style, and I suspect this is the finest vintage of this cuvée ever made. Gorgeous red and black fruits, toasted spice, brioche, violets, and flowers are just some of the nuances here, and it’s one of those wines that brings massive richness and depth while staying pure, seamless, and as graceful as they come. Don’t miss it!”

This medium ruby-hued Carneros Pinot Noir has fabulous aromatics of wild strawberries, raspberries, underbrush, and white pepper. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it’s another seamless, pure, incredibly polished 2021 offering ripe, integrated tannins and a great finish.”

Jonata 2020 Syrah “La Sangre” Estate, Ballard Canyon 98 Points
$209.99 $199.99
Vinous 98 Points: “The 2020 La Sangre de Jonata, the estate’s Syrah, is another profoundly beautiful, mesmerizing wine. Over the years, the Sangre has gained tremendously in precision, a combination of the vines getting older and also moving towards picking earlier and generally pushing the wine less. The result is Syrah that sizzles with saline energy, power, and vertical intensity. Ripe, red fruit, pomegranate, blood orange, and incense all soar out of the glass. I wouldn’t dream of touching a bottle any time soon, as the 2020 is very primary, and undeveloped. Its stature, however, is impossible to miss.
Bevan 2021 Sugarloaf Proprietary Red Napa Valley ~ 100 Points
$225.00 $214.99
Robert Parker 100 Points: “The terrific 2021 Proprietary Red Sugarloaf Mountain is a 60-40 blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot from this vineyard in southern Napa. Vaguely floral and leafy, loaded with purple raspberries and cherries, this is really complex, with lovely fruit. Full-bodied, supple, silky and seamless, it finishes long and elegant.”

$69.99
Pulido Walker 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder, Napa 99 Points
$259.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Points: “A bigger, richer, more structured wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder Estate Vineyard has brilliant black fruits, tobacco, iron, and subtle smoke-like nuances in a full-bodied, concentrated, layered package. This is pure Mountain Cabernet genius, and while it’s far from unapproachable today, it will benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age. It’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage and should be snatched up by readers.”
Côtière 2018 Dérive Bordeaux Blend 94 Points

The palate is elegant, with beautiful concentration all the way through, and offering notes of raspberry leather, forest herbs, and cedar. Hold 2-4 years and drink over the next 10 or more years.”

$114.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “A 60/40 split of Syrah and Grenache that comes from the Bien Nacido and Larner vineyards, the 2021 Letters to Europe offers up a rocking bouquet blackberries, ground pepper, spring flowers, and leather that needs air to show at its best. This spicy, complex, medium to full-bodied effort has terrific intensity, a stacked mid-palate, and ripe tannins that carry through the finish. It’s a head-turning beauty, that’s for sure.”
Paul Lato 2021 “Atticus” Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills 97 Points
$94.99
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Points: “Another Sta. Rita Hills release, the 2021 Pinot Noir Atticus John-Sebastiano Vineyard was destemmed and spent 16 months in 66% new French oak. It reveals a translucent ruby hue followed by an awesome bouquet of redcurrants, framboise, dried rose petals, and savory herbs. Vibrant, with a terrific mineral backbone, this weighs in at only 13.8% alcohol. Drink 2022-2035-“
