The Story: Beau Vigne (Bo-Veenya) was founded in 2002 by Ed and Trish Snider. Their vineyard goes by the name of Stags Ridge and is the benchmark and centerpiece of Beau Vigne. Stags Ridge Vineyard & Ranch is located on the Eastern edge of Napa, situated in the Atlas Peak appellation at the very top of Soda Canyon Road overlooking Pritchard Gap, Haystack, and Stagecoach Vineyards. The wines are made by Kirk Vegne, and as you know many of their releases have released big scores, so don't wait too long to jump on this latest release!

Winemaker Notes: "Designed after our historic “Cult” style-holding true to a powerhouse Cabernet presentation.  Sourced from our Stags Ridge hillside vineyard-the Foss and Guest Cottage benches, known for producing elegant multi- dimensional wines.  The 2014 Cult Cabernet delivers a bold, dense intricately layered wine with core flavors of blackberry, black currant, mixed with red fruit meld together as it enters your palate where it is balanced perfectly with touch of cocoa, and a hint of tobacco @ mid palate folding gently into an elegant, long and lasting 60 second finish. Drink 2017 through 2029."

Robert Parker review 96+ Points:

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Cult (I don’t really understand the name) is built along the same lines as its predecessors, and the blend is not terribly different (97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc). It is more similar than dissimilar to the Juliet – deep, rich, full-bodied, multi-dimensional, with stunning opulence and fabulous fruit and concentration. They produced 616 cases of this wine, which should be drunk over the next 20+ years. "
