Lucia 2013 Garys' Syrah Santa Lucia Highlands --
The Garys' Syrah is a very focused and intense wine. The wine is traditionally very floral and spice driven with a core of firm acidity that ensures the wine will age well for much time in the cellar.
Tasted the 2012 side by side with the 2013, and I'd say they are both amazing, so be on the lookout for another BIG score
Robert Parker 2012 review 95 Points: :" The richest and most concentrated in the lineup, and a wine that blew me away, the 2012 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard offers thrilling notes of crème de cassis, black raspberry and Asian spice to go with a full-bodied, layered, seamless and textured feel on the palate. Nothing is out of place here, it has solid mid-palate depth, and a lively, pure and focused style that keeps you coming back to the glass. Enjoy this beauty anytime over the coming 7-8 years."
